Such heated arguments usually revolve around ethical, moral, legal and biological aspects, however, none of the arguments seems to bring a consensus on whether abortion is wrong or right. According to Steffen and Dennis (128), abortion is the early dissolution of a human gravidness either by natural means commonly known as miscarriage or through human intervention usually referred as induced abortion. Hence, the essay aims to explore the different opinions raised in regards to induced abortion.Unanimously, it can be agreed that abortion can be admitted to protect the life of a woman in case the pregnancy poses a health risk to her, however, diverse views have been raised on other factors. First, the prolife group hold that life begins at conception and such the heart develops initially which is usually a symbol of life and hence the practice is an absolute murder and morally wrong .While the prochoice consider the practice as right as abortion mostly takes place on the first semester of pregnancy and by then the fetal health is dependent on woman health and it cannot exist outside the woman on its own. Hence, abortion is immoral as the fetal has no moral rights. (Gassaway, 145).Second, rape and incest is another serious issue debatable with matters arising whether pregnancy resulting are moral or immoral. The protagonist believes that with suitable medical attention the life of the unborn can be protected and undertaking abortion would be punishing an innocent life. Eventually, they believe such babies can be adopted by able families and unproductive couples and brought up well. However, the antagonist strongly oppose arguing conception from rape and incest leads to mental disturbances and such women struggle a lot to contain such scenarios, hence, keeping such p regnancies would further lead to awful memories. Further, still, adoption cannot serve as an alternative to such experience but abortion would help reduce such trauma, (Gassaway, 128).Third, abortion leads to painful and medical complications and if not well admitted can cause death to the victim. Occasionally, many women have lost their lives while others have been left with serious maternal complications when undertaking such practice, hence the protagonist sums up that abortion not only takes the life of the unborn but also the woman life too, therefore, the act is completely is morally wrong. However, people who support the application strongly hold that abortion is a safe medical procedure when well undertaken. Furthermore, they advocate for educational programme to women for safer abortion methods to be administered (Steffen et al, 85).Lastly, abortion as a form of contraception raises a divisive opinion from the different two groups....
